June and July Favourites 2014

Hey all

I felt like I had no favourites last month so I didn't bother with a post and decided that I would post about June and July together.

Beauty Favourites

Stila in The Light Eyeshadow Palette
I purchased this palette during June and it took forever to get shipped here, should have done express but I'm too poor! Seriously love at first sight! I love just staring at it, so so so pretty! I don't know why I never wanted it before, Tara had spoken about and bought the palette ages ago! I also purchased this for Brodie this year for her 21st birthday. It has the famous eyeshadow Kitten and omg I completely understand all the hype.

People for Plants Australian Organics Mist Toner
I am loving this toner that I got in the Priceline Skin Care Bag. I am not the most sure if it does much as I have been stepping up my skin care game lately so my skin has improved and I can't complete place what has made it improve. However I adore spraying it my face, very refreshing and it makes me feel good to my skin. I love that it is cruelty free, 97.9% organic and Australian Made.

Premium Spa Australia Face & Body Mask, White Clay, Rosehip and Chamomile
I got this face mask in a Lust Have It box I think and I was really underwhelmed by the getting this mask. I didn't want to use a mask made for the body on my face. However when I did try it I enjoyed it so much that I have used it multiple times a week! I have even gotten Kale to try it hehehe.

Dawsons Creek
I am addicted to this show! I had previously watched this show up to the start of season five. I decided to rewatch the show and force Kale to as well! I am flying through the show so much. I Joey and Pacey are my OTP. I love them together so so so much! I want to do a makeup look inspired by the show since 90's is so in and I am love the 90's. I think it is almost time to rewatch my faves Ten Things I hate About You and Drive Me Crazy.

New Girl
I love Zoey, she is stunning! I have binge watched this show and I am not sorry! I just want Jess and Nick together! I like having a short show to watch as you can watch 3 episodes and it's only just been longer than an hour.

Sex and the City

I have mentioned this before but I just finished the final season and just found out Mr Bigs name! So this has to be a favourite as it won't be mentioned again on the blog unless I love the movies! I love seeing the transition from all the different years in such a short period of time. Although some parts were a bit too racy for me I definitely loved the series and think it is a fun one to watch.

Comic con

I went to Comic Con in Melbourne this year as my lovely friend Sonia got Kale tickets for his birthday. Sonia if you are reading this thank you! It was a lovely day even with me forgetting my ticket and waiting for Sonia bring a copy for mine. I love all the artwork there and plan to buy some in the future, because let's face if I want that Sailor Moon or Pokemon art! We didn't pay to see any of the actors that was too expensive. We were just content looking at everything and purchasing some small things. I got a two bookmarks one of tangled and another of Jon Snow, they were cute cartoon versions. There was a tattoos being done there too and it did make me want to get a Luna tattoo. Kale and Sonia decided they would get tattoos together but I am yet to decide whether I will as I have a massive fear of needles, honestly my last blood test I nearly passed out!! Definite favourite of the last two months. 

Kale's 21st Birthday

Okay this was Definitely a highlight of the month. Kale got very spoilt I got him a Xbox One and it is one of the coolest things ever. He has family come down from New Castle and that was really nice too. We did lots of things for his birthday it was more like a birthday month! So jealous I could never have a birthday month as I have so many immediate family members born in September I do get a week though, although My nephew is due to be born on my birthday so many not!

This post was meant to be up last week but I have been very sick of late, hopefully we can fix that soon.

Bellabox Vs Lust Have It June 2014

Hey all

This post may seem late to you but I only got my Bellabox today (the 9/7/14). You see Bellabox was trialing a new delivery method and so people who live close to their offices were part the of the trial. However the delivery trial didn't go very well and they decided they will continue just using Australia Post. They did credit all the accounts who has to wait until july 100 bellabox points.

1. Herbal Essence Naked Shine Shampoo and Conditioner - Essential
I really want to try this so I am actually really happy that I got this in my box. I am after a new shampoo and conditioner so this could be an option.

2. Designer Brands Twist 'N' Go Instant Nail Polish Remover - Cult
I have the maybelline big version of this and I love it. I don't know where I put it and I am glad I got this because a cheaper version would be nice. It is really tiny and it will be great to chuck in my bag.

3. Garnier BB Cream Original Light - Colour
Love this product! I have used this ages ago and stopped as I was going to try other things. I am glad I got this and will use it as my daily foundation for now on.

4. Olay Regenerist Revitalising Hydration Cream - Classic
I haven't used Olay in yes, I'm interested to see what is like. It always shocks me how expensive Olay is though considering you can get it at the supermarket.

5. Burt's Bees Almond Milk Hand Cream - Luxe
You can never get enough hand cream! I haven't tried this one and I am planning a post on hand creams soon so great timing!

Lust Have It

1. Teez Trendy Cosmetics - Head Over Heels Nail Lacquer
It's a pretty colour and I love nail polish. It is actually really good size too!

2. John Plunkett Glyco Peel
I am so excited for this product. It is the item I am looking forward the most out of all the boxes. I am really nervous to use it but I have wanted to use a chemical exfoliator for a long time. This one also claims that you can use it on sensitive skin.

3. La Roche Posay Effaclar Duo
I have this sample so many times and I just never use it. I know it has alot of hype so maybe I will start using it in my skincare routine.

4. Orly Nail File
Meh

5. Nuxe Creme Nirvanesque Eye Contour
I don't like the packaging for this sample. However I am excited to try this!

The winner
Lust Have It just because of the Glyco Peel! I think that is the best thing in all the boxes. I have been wanting to try one for the longest time but Liquid Gold is expensive!

Priceline Skincare Bag Haul - New Products June 2014 #1

Hey All

So today I was bad and took advantage of the Priceline Skincare Bag. Basically you have to spend a minimum of $65 on certain brands and then you get a free bag full of skincare goodies which is apparently worth over $340. I justify making myself super broke because I am in need of new skincare, all of my current ones are either low or just not interesting me anymore. The bag is on sale until the 22nd of June.

Also Brodie is an enabler! Do not I repeat DO NOT ever go into Priceline with her you will buy everything! I think she is posting her haul tomorrow.

The background for the pictures is also a new purchase, I got new towels today. Oh the fabulous life of moving out. It might sound lame but I had so much fun picking towels with my boyfriend.

I really like the brand and this was one of the cheapest products that have to offer at priceline. I want to test other products from this brands before paying such large amounts.

I am hoping this is a decent cleanser. The price and the Jojoba oil sucked me in. 

Beauty Essentials Sunkissed Gradual Tanning Body Lotion Fair to Medium Skin $1.20
This was so cheap that I don't even care if it works or not!

Beauty Essentials Face Scrub $2.99
Look at the picture it looks like it as tested by someone else and won't close! Bit of a fail at choosing the product but I figured I need to scrub my skin a little as it has been months!

Nivea Visage Fragrance Free Facial Cleansing Wipes $4.49
Have not tried these wipes before. Expect a review soon.

Bondi Sands Summer Bronze Instant Tan Light/ Medium Wash Off $14.39
Bondi Sands is on sale at the moment, I didn't want to repurchase the mousse as mine isn't empty so I thought I would try the wash off one. I am really excited to see the colour pay off and decided which tan I prefer!

Okay now on to all the freebies! I am pretty excited to try some of these products as there is brands that I have never heard of before.

Sample Queen #9 NatraSan Instant Hand Sanitiser

Hey all

This NatraSan Antibacterial Instant Hand Sanitiser, I received in one of sample boxes I was subscribed to last year. It also made it's way into one of my favourites and most likely soon an empties. Chamomile & apple blossom is the scent I received, it smells amazing. There are other scents which I hope to one day find!

The Sanitiser is kind of hard to find online although I think I would be able to find it in an actual pharmacy. I hopefully will find some in an actual store and be able to share it with you. It is available on the bellabox website but that has a $8.95 shipping and the sanitiser is around $4.00. I hate when shipping is more expensive than the items I am buying, sigh.

The Sanitiser itself is amazing as it doesn't dry out your hands. I find if I use other ones too often I get sore fingers from over drying. You spray it one also which I think does help with not using more products than is needed.

Would I recommend it? Yes yes yes! Will I repurchase it? Yes as soon as I can find it as it is the best one I have tried!

Sample Queen #8 Lonvitalite 24K Active Gold Eye Mask

Another Sample Week post!

I kind of spent most of the day sleeping so this post is being written pretty late.

I took the picture after opening. lol. 

Today I tried Lonvitalite 24K Active Gold Eye Mask. It is a sheet mask for both your eyes. It is really wet in the packet that it comes in. The liquid is really wet and thick, it does make a mess. My first impression of the mask is that is has a cooling effect on the under eye area. It's cold but a pleasant and gives the impression that is doing something. 

There are a few problems I have with the eye mask. The little slits for the eyes are tiny. I feel like half my eyes are covered in the mask. I guess I could have my eyes closed while the mask is on, but why have the gaps if I shouldn't have my eyes open? I feel like there is a scent going on on the mask, which is not the best feature for eye products. 

Do I feel like my eyes are less puffy after using this? Yes I do slightly, I feel like it  makes the eye area look less wrinkled. Not that I have much wrinkles, I think it just makes the area look firmer. 

Would I recommend this product? If you have very problem eye areas I think it would be a nice product for you. Will I repurchase this product? Not likely as I don't think it is quite the right size for my eyes.

Sample Queen #6 Tigi Bed Head Elasticate Shampoo and Conditioner

Sample Week Day Two!!

Hey all!

I recently washed my hair using the sample of Tigi Bed Head Elasticate Shampoo and Conditioner. Not going to lie when I received this in one of my sample boxes I was not impressed. However I gave it ago and I really liked it! I used it after I got my haircut so I think I may used too much product as going from long to short hair it is easy to misjudge how much product you actually need.

I wish I had taken a picture but after I washed my hair with this my hair was so shiny! I made my hair look really healthy and nice. I was pretty impressed with the results of one wash. The shampoo and conditioner claim to designed to strengthen your hair. Which I can't really tell if that is true after one wash, but that is sounds like one amazing claim if it is true.

Overall I really enjoyed this sample of the shampoo and conditioner. I would be interested in trying the sample I received in the Recharge range.

Would I recommend it? Yes I would. Would I repurchase it? I would definitely purchase a Bed Head shampoo and conditioner but I would have to look at all the ranges they have to decide on the range I would purchase. Although Elasticate would be a high contender.

Sample Queen #5 Bioderma Nourishing Cream

Hello Everyone and welcome to sample week!!

How cute is this little sample!

I am very happy to start this very special week with you all, as this is the first feature week I have done on the blog and I think it is just so much fun. What can I say, I just love writing my blog!

I recently tried the Bio Derma Nourishing Cream for Dry to Very Dry Skin. I can't remember which box I got this from but I had two little 8ml tubes of this product so I have been trying it out for a long enough time to decide whether I would like to continue with it. Pesonally I think the 8ml was a great size to get and the little tubes lasted over a week each! I find moisturisers a little goes a long way!

The consistency of the moisturiser is very wet/ Liquid is is not a firm cream and it can be a little messy when squeezing the product out. Though I it's thinnest means the moisturiser is lighter and don't take forever to sink into the skin. I used this as a day time moisturiser although it could easily be used as a night time one as well, although I tend to prefer thicker creams or oils at night time.

I feel that even though this is a moisturiser targeted towards dry skin that it good to use as a sort of primer for makeup, in the sense that when you only use moisturiser to prime your face for foundation then this is a great option. I didn't find that it made my face feel oily later in the day while wearing this foundation.

Would I recommend this moisturiser? Yes I would. Would I repurchase? Now this is the tricky part. I really enjoyed the moisturiser but the cost of this is a lil cray in Australia. I will definitely consider it and when Priceline do their 40% off skincare I can say I am 90% sure I will purchase it then.

Lust Have It - Bonus Box - New Products #5 May 2014

Hey darlings

I recently re-subscribed to Lust Have It and signed up for a three month subscription. Since I paid for the three boxes upfront I got a free box. I'm not sure if I got two boxes free haha but more on that in another post. There was no Card so I don't have the most details on all the products.

I am super grateful for the free box but some of these items I can't feel but think they are left overs that they just couldn't get rid of. 

Nude by Nature Papaw Ointment

This product I got in a box months ages ago and I was not that big of a fan of it then. I will eventually use it, as papaw ointment is a staple for the winter months here in Melbourne. Dry and chapped lips are not a good look on anyone! So this will be in my handbag or car to insure that I have smooth, hydrated lips all year round.

For one this is the third time I have been given the purple colour in a box. Seriously this one colour seems to be in every box is it one of their best sellers or something? Or is it just one of the least popular colours. The silver is a pretty interesting colour but one that I doubt it is one that I will really use but it may make a cute accent nail. 

Camouflage Colour Lip Gloss 012 White Cherry

This is one of the ugliest coloured lipglosses I have ever seen! White gloss I'm not sure why anyone would wear this and I do not plan on using this. I will most likely see if someone is interested in it but I find that is highly unlikely. 

Seacret Buffing Block

This is the best thing in this box! My house mate Jess gave me this a few months ago. Everyone in the house loves this! Even Kale, mine you I have to do it on him and he just likes that this makes your nails so shiny. Seriously could not recommend this buffing block enough not that I have any idea what the price is! 

Paula's Choice Clear Anti-Redness Exfoliating Solution

I have also recieved this product before and I didn't use it. Kale actually did. He was complaining about his skin and while looking through all my samples this is what we decided he would try. He enjoyed so I might give it ago this time or give it to him.

New Products May 2014 #4 Beauty Joint Order

Hey all

So I made a Beauty Joint order the other week and it arrived in the mail! It was a lot quicker than I was expecting so that was great. So many of the products I bought have been on the lust list for months!

Jordana Best Lash Extreme Volumizing Mascara
Okay so if you can't guess why I bought this you are living under a rock. Lauren Cutris is forever raving about this mascara so I had to try it and it is so damn cheap I couldn't say no!



Jordana FabuBrow Eyebrow Pencil
I have heard a bit about this on Youtube recently and this is so cheap also it was hard to say no. I have the jordana eyebrow shadows which are great quality, I so knew it wouldn't be a waste of money.



NYX Blush in Angel
I have also heard so much about this blush! Rachael Jade on Youtube would be one of the biggest fan of the blush because it's supposedly a very neutral blush that can go with all looks. I need a blush to go with everything in my life it would be super helpful!





NYX Lipstick in Violet Ray
I am into the dark lips at the moment and it is the right weather for it in Melbourne! So this colour looked really nice when I saw the colour online but you know what it is pretty identical to one of my other lipsticks! So annoyed with myself!






NYX Lipstick in Harmonica
I'm really into light pink lips at the m moment and I couldn't find the black label one in India that Shaaanxo raves about so I thought this colour looked like a beautiful like pink. No! I was so wrong!!!! I am not a fan of this lipstick at all!!!!





Wet n Wild Mega Shield Lip Color SPF 15 in Lolly popstar
I pretty much just thought that this was a cute colour and I hadn't tried any Wet n Wild. Also so so so cheap so couldn't go wrong really. I am happy with this colour so far but may be a bit too meticalic for my liking.





Wet n Wild Colour Icon Palette in Comfort Zone
I got this palette as I love my walking on egg shells palette and really love it. I think Wet n Wild are such great quality for the price you pay!



E.L.F High Definition Undereye Setting Powder
Shaaanxo once again talks about this all the time so I knew I had to have it. So seeing as it is way cheaper in online than at Kmart I thought I would get it. This is one of their more expensive products but so far I enjoying it. As I had to start using it straight away!





E.L.F Blush in Gotta Glow
It's a highlighter and meant to be like the Nars one. Need I say more?





Rimmel Scandal Eyes Waterproof Kohl Kajal Eyeliner in Nude
This is forever sold out in any of the sales and majoirty of the time whenever I got into Priceline. I have been wanting this for the longest time so I finally bought it and can't wait to start using it!



NYC Smooth Skin Bronzing Powder
This I heard is a good 'drug store' bronzer and they don't sell it in Australia. So I thought I would try it out as I am in need of a cheaper bronzer and since I broke my Nars one :(.



Milani Bake Blush Luminoso
This is talked about so much on Youtube so I had to get it!

I really need to stop shopping this month! I am on 4 already and have so more things to haul!

New Products February 2014

Hey all!
It shouldn't surprise you that I have been shopping lately. I can't seem to stop myself! This were all purchases in February the post is just going up a little later than I expected!

Garnier Micellar  Cleansing Water
This is meant to be a dupe for Bio Derma. I figured I should try it since I love Bio Derma, just not the price tag! I saw this posted on a blog from the UK I think and I was so excited that it came out so quickly in Australia! So when I saw the products in Priceline I had to buy it even though my bank account was begging me not to! I plan to write a review or comparison soon.

Napoleon Perdis Set Palette and Gloss
I got this at Target and it was $14.00 on sale. It was so cheap that I couldn't say no to it. It has 2 blushes, 4 eye shadows, 4 lip colours and come with a separate plumping lip gloss. So far the eye shadows have been amazing quality and the blushes have been extremly pigmented. The plumping lip gloss does sting but I haven't used a plumping product before so I think that would be expected. Overall so far I am very happy with this purchase.

Kiehl's Clearly Corrective Dark Spot Solution
This is a product that has been on my wish list for years! I don't have dark spots like the names says but I have acne scares and this products has reviews saying it works wonders for those scars. Most of 2013 I was on skin medication and got my acne to clear up, so as a reward for going through the treatment I got this serum.

Tweezerman Stainless Steel Slant Tweezers in Pink
I don't have a picture for these because surprise surprise I have already misplaced them! These are just a good pair of tweezers which I was desperately needed. I am a fan of doing my eyebrows regularly as mine are hard to manage if I don't do them every few days. So a splurge for a good brand was needed.

Goals and Wishes for 2014

Tomorrow will be the beginning of a new year and with that all the new hopes of the future. I know that you can start a new goal during any day of the year but their is always something extra special about the new year!

Here are a few of my wishes for the new year.

1. Loose Weight
Pretty common one really but for good reason, being in a healthy weight range is help you stay healthy and make you less prone to illness. After being sick for the last part of this year I am ready to change up my weight. I begin to be super motivated I may even write a few posts.

2. Have Routine
Routine is something I am lacking in my life right now. University just finishing, part time work and having a partner who does shift work can really make routine hard. All 2013 I have been lusting after a time in my life where I have proper sleeping patterns and I think 2014 is the year to finally have it. I would also like routine in my posts on here and youtube, this could be harder but a goal I would like to achieve but the end of 2014.

3. Grow an Audience
I think most bloggers and vloggers would always aspire to increase their audience and I am no different. I feel more motivated to write and film when I can see people have been reading, commenting or watching. I can only see the way to grow my audience by being dedicated and motivated on my blog/ youtube. So that is something that will be a focus of 2014.

4. Get a Proper Job
This is my most important goal for the year and I think if I am capable of achieving this job it will really help all my other goals fall into place. As you know I am just about to Graduate my Bachelor Degree in Marketing. I would love to actually use my degree and begin working full time. So fingers crossed that I will soon find a job that is right for me.
