June and July Favourites 2014

Hey all

I felt like I had no favourites last month so I didn't bother with a post and decided that I would post about June and July together.

Beauty Favourites

Stila in The Light Eyeshadow Palette
I purchased this palette during June and it took forever to get shipped here, should have done express but I'm too poor! Seriously love at first sight! I love just staring at it, so so so pretty! I don't know why I never wanted it before, Tara had spoken about and bought the palette ages ago! I also purchased this for Brodie this year for her 21st birthday. It has the famous eyeshadow Kitten and omg I completely understand all the hype.

People for Plants Australian Organics Mist Toner
I am loving this toner that I got in the Priceline Skin Care Bag. I am not the most sure if it does much as I have been stepping up my skin care game lately so my skin has improved and I can't complete place what has made it improve. However I adore spraying it my face, very refreshing and it makes me feel good to my skin. I love that it is cruelty free, 97.9% organic and Australian Made.

Premium Spa Australia Face & Body Mask, White Clay, Rosehip and Chamomile
I got this face mask in a Lust Have It box I think and I was really underwhelmed by the getting this mask. I didn't want to use a mask made for the body on my face. However when I did try it I enjoyed it so much that I have used it multiple times a week! I have even gotten Kale to try it hehehe.



Television
Dawsons Creek
I am addicted to this show! I had previously watched this show up to the start of season five. I decided to rewatch the show and force Kale to as well! I am flying through the show so much. I Joey and Pacey are my OTP. I love them together so so so much! I want to do a makeup look inspired by the show since 90's is so in and I am love the 90's. I think it is almost time to rewatch my faves Ten Things I hate About You and Drive Me Crazy.

New Girl
I love Zoey, she is stunning! I have binge watched this show and I am not sorry! I just want Jess and Nick together! I like having a short show to watch as you can watch 3 episodes and it's only just been longer than an hour.

Sex and the City

I have mentioned this before but I just finished the final season and just found out Mr Bigs name! So this has to be a favourite as it won't be mentioned again on the blog unless I love the movies! I love seeing the transition from all the different years in such a short period of time. Although some parts were a bit too racy for me I definitely loved the series and think it is a fun one to watch.

Comic con

I went to Comic Con in Melbourne this year as my lovely friend Sonia got Kale tickets for his birthday. Sonia if you are reading this thank you! It was a lovely day even with me forgetting my ticket and waiting for Sonia bring a copy for mine. I love all the artwork there and plan to buy some in the future, because let's face if I want that Sailor Moon or Pokemon art! We didn't pay to see any of the actors that was too expensive. We were just content looking at everything and purchasing some small things. I got a two bookmarks one of tangled and another of Jon Snow, they were cute cartoon versions. There was a tattoos being done there too and it did make me want to get a Luna tattoo. Kale and Sonia decided they would get tattoos together but I am yet to decide whether I will as I have a massive fear of needles, honestly my last blood test I nearly passed out!! Definite favourite of the last two months. 

Kale's 21st Birthday

Okay this was Definitely a highlight of the month. Kale got very spoilt I got him a Xbox One and it is one of the coolest things ever. He has family come down from New Castle and that was really nice too. We did lots of things for his birthday it was more like a birthday month! So jealous I could never have a birthday month as I have so many immediate family members born in September I do get a week though, although My nephew is due to be born on my birthday so many not!

This post was meant to be up last week but I have been very sick of late, hopefully we can fix that soon.

May 2014 Favourites

Hey all

I have been pretty good with uploading favourites monthly but this months I decided not to as I feel I don't have enough items to talk about in a video. Also I am not sure how often I will uploading as of late as I am not feeling it right now. Maybe soon I will be in the mood to film again.

Makeup

I recently have been loving the Covergirl Outlast Stay Fabulous foundation. It was on sale for half price at coles a few weeks ago and I couldn't say no the price. Boy was I surprised with how good the foundation is! Don't get me wrong I knew it had a lot of hype but I don't always seem to like the foundation that everyone is loving. If you haven't tried this foundation then you are missing out seriously!

Next we have Socialeyes False Lashes which I hauled for you this month! I am slowly getting a little better with false lashes and this have something to do with it! I recently was the makeup artist for a friends art project and I used the Flirt Socialeyes lashes and they looked amazing on the model! They didn't look fake and they made such a different (the model has naturally long lashes but this made a statement!)

The NYC Smooth Skin Bronzing Face Powder which I recently hauled from a beauty joint order. I am really enjoying this bronzer for an everyday look, as it is matte and not too dark. It has made me start wearing bronzer everyday again which is something I had stopped when my Nars Laguna smashed! Also it makes a great crease colour.

That is all for makeup favourites most of the other products used this month were ones that I have already praised in other months!

Television

Game of Thrones! I am addicted to this show and I don't know how I am going to cope with it being off air for another year! I will be rewatching all the episodes and reading the books to keep me sane!

Reign I became addicted to in May and it is sadly over for the season. I love this show as it based around Mary Queen of Scots so you can imagine how beautiful the clothing and the hair is. The two love interests are pretty cute too. Also there are Australian's in the show which is pretty cool and something that will generally draw me in.

Big Bang Theory Kale and I have been watching this most nights throughout the month and we became pretty addicted. I was never really interested in the show but now I love it.

Lastly Sex and the City has been another show I have watched a lot of this month. I watched at least three seasons in May. I have nevered finished the show and last year I decided I was going to watch it from start to finish. That went well, I finished season 1 quickly then I couldn't find the season two dvd so I put it off. Then Jess (Housemate Tag) watch 4 seasons without me! So I just never got around to watching more. Now however I have been committed to finishing the show! Hopefully I can post that I finished it next month!

Random

I don't have much other favourites this month other than Yoga. I signed up to do a month Bikram Yoga and really enjoyed the Yoga side. I didn't go to that many of the classes as I got sick with a pretty bad cold in May but I really enjoyed it. I think I will continue with Yoga from now on even if it is using my Wii. However a 40 degree room for someone who constantly has a blocked nose is a little too much!

Top 13 Products of 2013

Hello lovelies,

Welcome to 2014! I thought I would share my favourite products of 2013! 

These are in no order whatsoever! I hope that we might have shared some of the same favourite products. 

1. Benefit Boi-ing Concealer - 01

If you have watch my video you would know this is my favourite concealer and I am pretty sure I only tried it for the first time in 2013. I am almost finished my second concealer and plan to repurchase soon! It is a full coverage concealer which I find works best for me. I would highly recommend. 

2. Maybelline Colour Tattoo Metal - Barely Branded 

I got my first colour tattoo once again in 2013 and now have three as they are amazing products. If I am wearing eye shadow there is a 90% chance I am wearing Barely Branded as it is a perfect neutral everyday colour. I will even wear it going out which you will see in my New Years Eve Get Ready With Me. Fast and simple product that still looks amazing. This can always be found on sale also so another bonus! 

3. Benefit Gimme Brow- Medium/Deep 

This product was only released late in the year but I adore it. I became more interested in styling my eyebrows in 2013 and this is definitely the best out of all the brow products I have tried. This makes doing your brows super easy and practically impossible to screw up! 

4. Essence Eyeshadow- 01 Chill Out

I mentioned during the year I have been looking for the perfect white eye shadow to highlight my inner corner with and this is the one! This is super cheap along with being awesome quality you can not ask for anything more than this one! 

5. Lush Bubblegum Lip Scrub 

I had super dry lips this year and this worked for me. Yes you can use brown sugar and olive oil but that is messy so this is simple and easy. It isn't expensive so there is no reason to not just buy a lip scrub. The smell is amazing and super yummy so it is makes you want to use it!

6. Bourjois Volume Glamour Max - 51 Noir Max
I got this mascara from the Priceline beauty bag in 2013, I am so glad I did as I had never looked at the Bourjois Mascara before. It is true to it's name and is very voluminous. The brush is really big and convex. Love, love, love this mascara.

7. Ralph Lauren, Ralph Fragrance
I love this fragrance it is a clean and crisp scent. I find that it is good for everyday and versatile. I have pretty run out but I do plan on repurchasing it again soon.

8. Essie Nailpolish
I slightly cheated with this one as I didn't pick a colour I picked the brand as a whole. Since priceline started selling Essie this year that is has become assessable us Australians. I love the Essie brand I only have three colours myself, but my house mate has a few also that are pretty too.

9. Hydraluron
I have already blogged about this so I don't think I have to say much about this product. I adore it and my skin is so grateful for having it in my life.

10. Frank Coffee Scrub
This has become super popular this year and it is understandable why. This is a rough scrub so if you body is sensitive than this isn't for you. This scrub targets cellulite and stretch marks which is something that is something I want to get rid of. If you love coffee you will love the smell of it!

11. Coles 4 in 1 Cleansing Wipes
These are the best budget makeup wipes! I think they are better than more expensive wipes. Seriously do yourself a favour and try them!

12. Antipodes Grapeseed Butter Cleanser
I love this cleanser and the review was my last post! I do plan to eventually repurchase this cleanser.

13. Sukin Certified Organic Rose Hip Oil 
This is amazing for your skin oil or dry! I am in love with this product it really did help me so much when I was on the skin medication.

14. Organi Organic Honey Peel 
Okay so I miscounted lol! So this is the bonus product! Picking only 13 is hard! This is another product that I have already reviewed! I really enjoyed this peel as it left my skin feeling amazing afterwards. I am looking for a dupe of this product though as it expensive and while I am still working part time it is a bit out of my budget!
