Products Not Worth The Hype #1

Hi

There are many products out there that you purchase as there is so much Hype around the Product. I am here to tell you what products I got and was disappointed with or what I expect more from. That is why I am starting this series, I have been wanting to start this series for a long time. I thought it would be better to do this on the blog because I get the time to slowly decided and not say it all at once.  So here we are the first post for this series.

There are two products that I am writing about they are both from Soap and Glory. Firstly Flake Away their scrub which I wanted so badly because of all the raves it got on YouTube. Don't get me wrong I think this smells amazing! However does it get rid of flaky skin like the name suggests no it doesn't. I feel like it is just an expensive luxurious lumpy body wash. I think there are so much better scrubs out there in the market

The Righteous Butter is also another moisturiser that I have seen in multiple YouTubers favourites videos. Once again I love the smell of this moisturiser but I don't think I think it is very moisturising. I found that when my skin was really dry it only made my skin turn red. I didn't find that it soaked into my skin at all and it just stayed on my skin for ages.

I however I do want to try more Soap and Glory products. This in no way will stop me from thinking highly of the brand.

New Series Helping Jess

Yay so am starting a new series woo! People who know me in 'real life' know in July one of my university friends ( more like only uni friend!) moved in with me. When it comes to beauty we are completely different. Jess wears makeup everyday, uses soap to wash her face, straightens her hair almost daily and I am constantly reminding her to take off her make up. 

Recently washing her face with soap has stopped working for her, no surprise right? Well together we are going to find the solution to her skin issues, hopefully. We are going to start with finding her an actually cleanser and maybe a set to use. Money is no object here as she Is willing to pay more money if that means results. 

I am really excited about this series as it can be a way for me to research and buy things but not have to pay for it. 

If you have recommendations for Jess that would be great and we can all work together to help Jess out.

Sample Queen!

I have so many samples at the moment. So I am going to start using a sample a week at least and post a mini review on my blog. It will free up a lot of room in my storage and I will hopefully find new products I love. I will not be able to tell you where each sample has come from as it is difficult to remember but most likely it is from a sample box.

I am thinking of posting these on a Wednesday as that is a day where there is a gap in my blog. I will still have posts that are not in a series of course! Just I enjoy series on here as it helps me keep focused on what to blog about and when. 

Also on a little house keeping note I finally changed the time on my blog so now if I schedule it will be on Australian Melbourne (Sydney's too) time. I have no idea why it took me so long.

Flashback Friday: New Series Starting Soon!

So this week I annoyed pretty much all my friends on Facebook. As I decided it would be fun to create a new series on my blog and potentially on my Youtube also. So I went through all my old tagged photos and saved ones I like or ones that I thought were funny/ different to now.  Featuring my make up looks that I used wear. Some I still like and should recreate as I still believe they are flattering while others I do not understand how I thought that looked good. I will give you guys a hint of my old taste lots and lots of black eye liner. It is crazy how different my taste in make up had become. So brace yourselves for the make up fails of the past.
