June and July Favourites 2014

I felt like I had no favourites last month so I didn't bother with a post and decided that I would post about June and July together.

Beauty Favourites

Stila in The Light Eyeshadow Palette
I purchased this palette during June and it took forever to get shipped here, should have done express but I'm too poor! Seriously love at first sight! I love just staring at it, so so so pretty! I don't know why I never wanted it before, Tara had spoken about and bought the palette ages ago! I also purchased this for Brodie this year for her 21st birthday. It has the famous eyeshadow Kitten and omg I completely understand all the hype.

People for Plants Australian Organics Mist Toner
I am loving this toner that I got in the Priceline Skin Care Bag. I am not the most sure if it does much as I have been stepping up my skin care game lately so my skin has improved and I can't complete place what has made it improve. However I adore spraying it my face, very refreshing and it makes me feel good to my skin. I love that it is cruelty free, 97.9% organic and Australian Made.

Premium Spa Australia Face & Body Mask, White Clay, Rosehip and Chamomile
I got this face mask in a Lust Have It box I think and I was really underwhelmed by the getting this mask. I didn't want to use a mask made for the body on my face. However when I did try it I enjoyed it so much that I have used it multiple times a week! I have even gotten Kale to try it hehehe.

I am addicted to this show! I had previously watched this show up to the start of season five. I decided to rewatch the show and force Kale to as well! I am flying through the show so much. I Joey and Pacey are my OTP. I love them together so so so much! I want to do a makeup look inspired by the show since 90's is so in and I am love the 90's. I think it is almost time to rewatch my faves Ten Things I hate About You and Drive Me Crazy.

New Girl
I love Zoey, she is stunning! I have binge watched this show and I am not sorry! I just want Jess and Nick together! I like having a short show to watch as you can watch 3 episodes and it's only just been longer than an hour.

Sex and the City

I have mentioned this before but I just finished the final season and just found out Mr Bigs name! So this has to be a favourite as it won't be mentioned again on the blog unless I love the movies! I love seeing the transition from all the different years in such a short period of time. Although some parts were a bit too racy for me I definitely loved the series and think it is a fun one to watch.

I went to Comic Con in Melbourne this year as my lovely friend Sonia got Kale tickets for his birthday. Sonia if you are reading this thank you! It was a lovely day even with me forgetting my ticket and waiting for Sonia bring a copy for mine. I love all the artwork there and plan to buy some in the future, because let's face if I want that Sailor Moon or Pokemon art! We didn't pay to see any of the actors that was too expensive. We were just content looking at everything and purchasing some small things. I got a two bookmarks one of tangled and another of Jon Snow, they were cute cartoon versions. There was a tattoos being done there too and it did make me want to get a Luna tattoo. Kale and Sonia decided they would get tattoos together but I am yet to decide whether I will as I have a massive fear of needles, honestly my last blood test I nearly passed out!! Definite favourite of the last two months. 

Kale's 21st Birthday

Okay this was Definitely a highlight of the month. Kale got very spoilt I got him a Xbox One and it is one of the coolest things ever. He has family come down from New Castle and that was really nice too. We did lots of things for his birthday it was more like a birthday month! So jealous I could never have a birthday month as I have so many immediate family members born in September I do get a week though, although My nephew is due to be born on my birthday so many not!

This post was meant to be up last week but I have been very sick of late, hopefully we can fix that soon.

Makeup Wipe Monday #16 Kmart Makeup Wipes

Hey all

I recently purchased these wipes recently at Kmart, they were really cheap $2 each. They are both scented even though it doesn't say on the packaging, Sweet Mint and Strawberry. You can tell they are very cheap quality from just looking at them, think super thin. If you have sensitive skin I would not use these wipes on your face as I feel like they are extremely soapy. I don't think I will use them very regularly as they could dry out your skin.

Honestly I feel like these wipes are great for taking off swatches on your hand or maybe wiping off all that build up of foundation on your eyebrows when you have just applied it. You could also use these to take off most your foundation before you shower or use a proper makeup remover. These would not be good to use on a day where you aren't going to use any other method of makeup removing.

Would I recommend these? Yes I would be for swatch removing or makeup blunder removing. Would I repurchase these? Yeah maybe for just removing swatches as I don't like to waste good ones when I am only going to use it for around two seconds and barely any of it.

Top 5: Blushes

Hey all

I have been in love with blush for only a few years now. If you look back at pictures of me during Highschool I would seriously never wear blush and if I did it was because my mum told me I had to. Now I feel I look dead without it! It just makes my face look less pale as it brings some colour to my face. I feel when I fake tan you can't see it as well but I am fine with that since there is already colour on my face!

All of these blushes have been blushes that I have reach for days, weeks and even months in a row. They are the most used blush, most flattering and the certainly my most loved blushes.

Nars Orgasm
If you read my blog or seen my Youtube you know that I am in love with this blush. I think it gives a nice glow. I think the colour is extremely flattering for pale skin. If you are into highlighting than this is a great blush for you. If you don't like the highlighted look then not for you and honestly I think all of this blushes won't be ideal for you. This is a very gold based pinky peach colour. This is pricey but I would recommend this blush so much! If you didn't love it I would be very shocked!

Nars Deep Throat
This blush I wear everyday as I feel like it is a very natural colour. It is slightly shimmery but no where near as shimmery as orgasm which makes me extremely wearable. It is just the perfect pink colour in my opinion which gives you a healthy flush. With all Nars blushes this is highly pigmented in a good a way. I like to have very pink cheeks and so suits my style. Another one that is worth the money but there is a dupe that I would also recommend blog post coming soon I promise.

Nyx Dusty Rose
Last year I was really loving this blush and I reviewed it here. The brand isn't tested on Animals so that is great bonus to the blush. The name really says it all it's a Dusty Rose colour that is wearable all year round. This is another one that has the slightest shimmer, I personally think you look closely but my housemate wouldn't wear it because of the shimmer. This is also super affordable so it won't break the bank like Nars might

Benefit Coralista
I am a big fan of the Benefit Box Powders and this has to be one of my favourites. This is a shimmery coral colour that is great for summer. This is super pigmented and you have to be light handed when applying otherwise you with end up looking clown like. These are on the pricey side but you save a fortune if you purchase from the Benefit website. I hope to one day own all the Benefit Box Powders, I clearly also have issues. 

Wet n Wild Mellow Wine
This is one of the cheapest blushes I own and it made it into the top 5 out a large collection. Wet n Wild have really pigmented product and the pigmentation of this blush does not disappoint. This a darker pink colour which is great for the colder months. I honestly think this should be a staple in everyone's collection since the price would suit everyones budget!

Makeup Ban

Hey all!

I am proud to say that I haven't bought any makeup since the 1st of july! I have been really trying to save!  I thought the best way to save money will be to stop buying makeup that I don't need!

I am  not going to stop buying makeup forever because let's be real in September I most likely will get my hands on some makeup it is my birthday month then after all.

So fingers crossed I will be able to not purchase any makeup July and August!
